Vehicle Activated LED Signs
Viewtec Signs have now introduced Vehicle activated L.E.D. road sign’s to our product range.
Vehicle activated signs are very effective in reducing speeds; in particular, they are capable of reducing the
number of drivers who exceed the speed limit without the need for enforcement such as speed cameras.
These signs have ultra bright LEDs which are activated by an internal radar device that is programmed
to activate if an approaching vehicle is exceeding the speed limit threshold. The speed limit and/or
warning message will illuminate on the sign to remind the driver to slow down.
